Position: Dentist for Pediatric and Adolescent Patients

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive dental care to pediatric and adolescent patients, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other procedures.

• Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs, taking into account their age, dental health, and any specific concerns or preferences.

• Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.

• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.

Requirements:

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.

• Valid state dental license and DEA registration.

• Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care to patients of all backgrounds.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Are you a skilled dental assistant with leadership experience and a dedication to serving the Spanish-speaking community? We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team and play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care to our Spanish-speaking patients. As a critical member of our dental team, you will have the opportunity to lead by example, mentor other team members, and contribute to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside assistance.

• Take patient records and maintain accurate patient charts.

• Lead, train, and supervise other dental assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Communicate effectively with patients in Spanish, explaining treatment plans, addressing concerns, and providing oral health education.

• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and maintaining inventory.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Tennessee.

• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) Required.

• Proven experience as a dental assistant, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in dental X-rays, impressions, and sterilization techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Knowledge of dental software and electronic health records systems is a plus.

• Additional certifications can be obtained on the job.
